LITIGATION & INVESTIGATION

Ferrari Moe was expert witness during construction litigation and lead the investigation for water intrusion, structural cracks, and podium planters.

windows

The project removed failing windows and replaced with upgraded thermally broken aluminum double pane windows. As evidenced by the elevation, there were many different sizes, configurations, and orientations.

plaza

A large central plaza deck was over eight stories of parking. Water was penetrating the plaza membrane and reaching the structure below. Repairs to the membrane had to occur.

concrete

Private concrete balconies were experiencing spalling, it was determined through investigation that the railing posts were the source.

EIFS

The buildings were clad in Exterior Finish and Insulation System (EIFS) that was allowing water to enter the interior spaces and had to be repaired.
